Ms. Perrell focuses her practice on plaintiffs' legal negligence claims, business litigation, and defending and pursuing abusive litigation claims.  As a niche within legal malpractice, Ms. Perrell has pursued patent malpractice claims and represented publicly traded companies for errors resulting in eight figure losses, negotiating those claims to successful resolutions and recently won a $1.9 million breach of contract award against a publicly traded company.

As a result of this experience, she is regularly asked to speak at seminars on preventing legal malpractice and legal ethics by malpractice insurance companies and other entities.  She is the Co-Chair of the longstanding seminar on Abusive Litigation and most recently, Ms. Perrell was instrumental in instituting Georgia’s first Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia of which she is now the Chair.  Ms. Perrell also serves as the Chair of the first Professional Liability Section CLE Committee and heads the committee to draft legislation to clarify the statute of limitations on professional negligence claims to be proposed by the State Bar.  Ms. Perrell also has been designated as a Super Lawyer by Atlanta Magazine and is one of only three lawyers, Board Certified in Legal Malpractice in the State of Georgia by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.    Ms. Perrell is also the host of the Sunday morning talk show, Leyes Cotidianas – Everyday Law, which airs on PBA 30, providing information as to laws that impact viewers.
